MyCHN Launches Cardiology Expansion Initiative with Support from Dow Grant Press Release

Pearland, TX, December 19th, 2025 – MyCHN is proud to announce the acquisition of advanced diagnostic technologies, such as cardiac stress testing, to expand and strengthen its cardiology services, made possible through a generous grant from Dow. This initiative will bring in-house cardiac stress testing to MyCHN clinics, addressing growing cardiovascular needs and advancing equitable access to specialty care—particularly for uninsured and underinsured patients.

Cardiovascular disease continues to be a leading concern in MyCHN communities. Currently, patients are often referred to external providers for stress testing, resulting in delayed diagnoses, low follow-through, and barriers such as transportation challenges. This expansion is designed to reduce those gaps in care by offering timely, accessible diagnostics directly within the MyCHN network.

“Dow’s investment in our communities enhances MyCHN’s ability to deliver early detection, precise risk stratification, and timely therapeutic interventions for patients with cardiovascular conditions,” says “Dow’s investment in our communities enhances MyCHN’s ability to deliver early detection, precise risk stratification, and timely therapeutic interventions for patients with cardiovascular conditions.”

Project Highlights:

  • Acquisition and installation of cardiac stress testing equipment at MyCHN clinics
  • Integration into existing clinical operations
  • Staff training and workflow development for seamless implementation
  • Special focus on underserved populations with financial and access-related barriers

Expected Impact:

This initiative directly supports MyCHN’s long-term strategy to become a regional leader in community health. Progress and outcomes will be tracked through clinical, operational, and patient satisfaction metrics, with quarterly evaluations to ensure continuous improvement and long-term success.
